Wembley Paw Patrol Digital Projector Watch for Kids

If you have a toddler or young kid at home, chances are high they won't stop talking about Chase, Marshall, or Skye. I picked up one of these Paw Patrol projector watches for my nephew's birthday, mostly expecting it to be a one-day novelty. Turns out, it became an instant favourite the second the bedroom lights went off.

How the projector actually works

Besides telling the digital time, the main attraction here is the side projector button. Kids can point the watch at a plain wall or ceiling, press the button, and cycle through different Paw Patrol character images. It is surprisingly bright in a dark room. You get a little rotating dial around the lens to focus the images so they don't look like blurry smudges. It keeps young kids thoroughly entertained during bedtime or car rides at night.

Build quality and comfort

The watch is chunky, made of colourful plastic with printed straps featuring the pups. It feels sturdy enough to survive regular floor drops and playground roughhousing. The strap has plenty of adjustment holes, making it easy to fit tiny wrists. Just note that the watch face itself is slightly thick because it houses the mini projector mechanism, so it might feel a bit bulky on very small toddlers under three years old.
